History
Founded in 1978, Michigan Language Center (MLC) – the #1 English language school in Ann Arbor, MI (USA) – serves international students and business executives from over 25 countries and the vast international population studying at the University of Michigan. The Michigan Language Center has had over 50,000 student enrollments since it began. Students have gone on to significantly improve their TOEFL scores, gain admissions to a variety of US universities and colleges in many different states and to improve their business success.

Global Educational Excellence (GEE) was founded in 1998 and is a US based educational management organization that operates in the US and MENA region.

GEE MENA and MLC’s unique partnership offers an opportunity for students in the MENA to attend an accredited program that offers students with pathways to enroll in US colleges and universities. Additionally, MLC is accredited by ACCET (Accrediting Council for Continuing Education and Training), which is recognized by the US Department of Education. This allows MLC to issue the Form I-20, which is the first step in applying for a student visa to the United States.
