Program Highlights

MLC’s University of Michigan-Flint Online Pathway Program is designed for students who are conditionally admitted to UM Flint. Students can complete their English language condition through MLC’s online English classes and gain full acceptance to UM Flint without re-taking the TOEFL, IELTS or Duolingo exams.

  • Start ESL studies immediately from your home country by enrolling in MLC’s live online classes
  • Take classes only in skill areas where you need to improve
  • Fulfill UM Flint’s English language condition without re-taking the TOEFL, IELTS or Duolingo exams
  • Choose to complete your English requirement by studying in-person on MLC’s campus in Ann Arbor. To learn more about this option, inquire at info@englishclasses.com.
Program Details
ASSESSMENT

MLC will assess your English proficiency in the areas of grammar, writing, reading, and speaking/listening. You will be advised to take classes only in skill areas that need improvement for university studies. Recommendations will take into account the requirements of your degree program and department.

ONLINE CLASSES

Take MLC’s live online classes from anywhere in the world. New classes are offered every 5 weeks. Tuition per 5-week session is between $425 to $900 per class, depending on the hours of study per week.

SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION

You will meet the English condition after successfully completing the recommended classes at MLC’s Advanced level and receiving the recommendation of our Academic Director. The Director’s recommendation will be based on assessments and evaluation tools that help determine readiness to attend and succeed at UM Flint.

Assessment Meeting

Schedule a free, 15-minute online Assessment Meeting with an MLC director to discuss your English level and class options. The meeting will be on Zoom, so please download Zoom before the meeting if needed.

Reserve Your Spot

Reserve a spot in our classes by paying a $100.00 tuition deposit. Our team will send instructions for paying the deposit after your assessment meeting. The remainder of tuition is due the first day of the session.
